Corby, Northamptonshire – Emergency services were called to an acid attack in Corby on Wednesday evening, leaving one person with life-threatening injuries. A man in his 20s was riding a moped when he was attacked by two suspects who threw acid in his face.
Witnesses reported seeing the suspects fleeing the scene on a motorcycle. The victim was rushed to Kettering General Hospital with serious burns to his face and eyes. His condition is described as life-threatening.
Police Investigation Underway
Northamptonshire Police have launched an investigation into the attack. They are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident or have any information about the suspects. A cordon has been put in place around the scene while forensic officers examine the area.
